Staff of the N.H.S. Primary Care Trust were asked to nominate colleagues that work hard, are always pleasant, are a good friend and strive always to improve patient care.

During a celebration lunch at the Park Lane Hotel in Aigburth in September 2004, Stan was surprised and very flattered to find he had been awarded a certificate and official badge of honour to mark his nomination by other P.C.T. colleagues for his work as a Tai Chi teacher within the community.

Some of the areas in which Stan has brought his expertise and great sense of humour over the years are Coronary Care, Diabetes, Age Concern and Hospices. He also has worked with children and brings his own particular style of teaching to everything he does.

Stan thoroughly deserves the recognition from the Trust as he has made such a difference to so many people in the Liverpool area.
